Fashion, Identity and Spirituality: My Vision of Haute Couture
I am Stefano Pivelli, a haute couture designer, and my journey was born from a deep creative drive that over the years has shaped itself into a precise vision. For me, fashion is not merely aesthetics: it is identity, the first level of communication through which a person presents themselves to the world before ever speaking a word. Every piece I create carries within it a part of my vision, my name, and who I am.
I am Stefano Pivelli, a haute couture designer, and my journey was born from a deep creative drive that over the years has shaped itself into a precise vision of my work and my life. My experience in fashion began in the world of tattooing, then evolved into a path that led me to create shirts, clothing and accessories, gradually building a personal aesthetic language.
For me, fashion is not merely aesthetics: it is identity. It is what allows a person to present themselves to the world before ever speaking a word. Dressing well, from my perspective as a designer, is essential because it represents the first level of communication: it speaks of personality, self-care, attention to detail and the way a person chooses to show themselves.
When I create a garment, I observe everything: the clarity of the lines, the construction, the choice of fabrics, the quality of the material and, above all, the way the piece lives on the body. A garment is not static; it takes shape through the movement of the person wearing it. It is in movement that fashion truly becomes alive, authentic, complete.
I chose to become a designer because it is a form of total creativity, a work that allows me to see beauty in materials, fabrics and people. I particularly love working with shirts, because they represent a balance between structure and elegance. The contact with fabrics, especially worked cottons and poplin, is an integral part of the creative process: through touch I enter into direct relationship with what will eventually become form.
There is also an aspect of my work that I consider deeply spiritual. When I create, I perceive an energy that envelops and guides me. It is like entering a different dimension, one in which creativity amplifies itself and allows me to see beyond my usual limits. In that state I am able to realise ideas that, at other times, I would not even have thought possible.
In this journey, QTR plays an important role: a technique I use as a tool for personal growth. It helps me work on my limiting patterns, transforming them into awareness and inner development, and to remain focused on my goals as I build, step by step, my human, spiritual and professional path.
For me, a designer is not simply someone who creates clothes, but someone who gives form to something meant to be carried out into the world. A garment, once worn, becomes part of the person and their public image: a vehicle of beauty, creativity and identity that continues to live through whoever wears it.
What truly drove me to take this path is the desire to leave something unique. I want to create recognisable, distinctive works and collections that only I could make; I want people, looking at what I create, to sense that behind it lies research, talent and a precise vision.
My aim is to leave a mark in the world of haute couture, a journey that may be remembered alongside great names such as Valentino, Armani or Hermès. But it is not simply a matter of standing beside these references: I want to build something even greater, an artistic, creative and spiritual legacy that goes beyond the mere concept of style.
I chose this path because it allows me to unite technique, sensibility and inner research into a single expressive form. And because every creation I make carries within it a part of my vision, my name and my identity.
